The Kunjaban Palace, located near the Ujjayanta Palace, is another architectural jewel of Agartala. The palace is located at a hill-top that gives a panoramic view of the surrounding areas. This spellbinding edifice was built by Maharaja Birendra Kishore Manikya as his summer retreat in the year 1917. While the palace was initially named as 'Pushbanta Palace', it was later renamed as Kunjaban Palace.
