Athirappally Falls

Plummeting down 80 feet to Chalakkudy River, the picturesque Athirapilly Falls in Thrissur district is a very famous and very busy tourism destination. Behind the waterfalls it is possible to see the mountains covered with thick dense forests. The waterfalls itself can be seen from many different locations. There are special pathways which take people very close to the spot where the water is falling. Even before reaching the spot one can feel tiny droplets of water falling from the splashing waterfalls.
