Chateau Woods is the winner of the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice award – 2014 best resorts in Wayanad, Kerala. Located between Kalpetta and Vythiri , Chateau Woods is tucked on a hillside in the 'Attamala' forests and plantations – a secret hideout from the world. The name is derived from the local language, which translates this into 'Attamala - Lands end'. Also named as Sentinel Rock Estates by Britishers. Locally known as Suchipara after Britishers left.

Spread over 7 acres of tea and coffee plantation, overlooking undulating hills of clumpy tea bushes as far as your eyes can see, the bungalow leans towards neat lines, uncluttered sophisticated aesthetics and subtle coloured furnishings. Use of glass, wood, concrete and iron give Chateau Woods a contemporary character.
