Kanyakumari is a town in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. It is situated at the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent. It is surrounded by hills, plains and seashores. Coconut trees and paddy fields with red cliff patches and undulated valleys and plains between the seacoast and the mountains surround the city.
