Sainthia, formerly Nandipur, is a large town and a municipality in Suri Sadar subdivision of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It belongs to Burdwan Division. It is located 18 KM towards East from District head quarters Suri, Birbhum. It is a Block head quarter. The Town is known as business city of Birbhum.
