Tanakpur is a quiet little town located on the edge of Tarai areas of Champawat district in Kumaon within the hill state of Uttarakhand in India. Tanakpur is just 3 Km away from the Indo-Nepal border. Situated at an elevation of 245 meters above the sea level, Tanakpur is a beautifully laid out town by the banks of river Sharda. The roads and pavement of this town are wide and one can comfortably explore Tanakpur on foot. In terms of things do here, one can choose from a variety of activities like visiting places of worship, taking a stroll by the river side or just walking through the town. Tanakpur is also the doorway to the venerated Purnagiri temple and offers interesting excursions in the areas close by.

Day 1:   Pantnagar - Tanakpur

Pick-up from Pantnagar Airport, drive to Tanakpur. check in at hotel & relax, evening free for individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02:  Tanakpur Local Sightseeing

Have your breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Tanakpur Local Sightseens, Purnagiri Temple Situated 21kms from Tanakpur, Sharda Ghat is also known as Ma Purnagiri Sharda Ghat, Panchmukhi Mahadev Temple is Lord Shiva in his panchmukhi or five faced form, Gurdwara Siri Guru Singh Sahib, Tanakpur Methodist Church etc. Evening free for individual activates. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03:   Tanakpur - Pantnagar

After early breakfast, drive back to Pantnagar. On arrive Pantnagar, transfer to Airport.

• 25% Amount at the time of booking. 100% Amount 15 days or earlier, before travel date. Payment by cheque or online payment facility available. Your booking confirmation number will be provided to you.

 

Tour Cancilation policy

• Strictly depends upon concerned hotel's cancellation policy
• Minimum Cancilation charges before 10days of Travel Date is 10% of package cost

• Package cost will change if opted for guide service, choice of transport vehicle, hotel type change
• Accommodation charges as mentioned in the package are with 2 persons staying together sharing the same room
• Extra persons in same room charges extra
