Mandal village is located in Chamoli Tehsil of Chamoli district in Uttarakhand, India. It is situated 23km away from sub-district headquarter Chamoli and 13km away from district headquarter Gopeshwar. As per 2009 stats, Mandal village is itself a gram panchayat.

We were returning from Chopta to Chamoli, and as we were climbing down the hill, near mandal, I saw these beautiful Farming fields in different hues of colors. The Lush green valley with few village houses looked so fabulous. here all the places are very green and is very pleasing to the eye.
