Ghansali

Ghansali is located on the convergence point of Bhilangana and Bal Ganga river. It is basically a small town belongs to New Tehri region. Ghansali is also recognized as the Ghansyali and this place is assumed as the small market place for majority of small villages near to this place. The place is located at a height of 976 mtrs and this is the main road route for people going to Gangotri from Kedarnath through Tilwara.

Ghansali is also a road route to Gangotri from Kedarnath via Tilwara. Ghansali town offers a splendid beauty of Bhilangana river on one side and dense forest at other. A historical Hanuman Temple in Ghansali is major attraction for tourist. Every year a fair is organize at Hanuman temple attended by large number of local people.
