Bhimtal is situated at an altitude of 1200 m so is slightly on the warmer side in mid June, but makes for an all year round destination. For recreation one can do boating at the lake or explore the surrounding jungle on foot. It can also be made as a center for exploring the surrounding lakes. There is a large Victorian dam at one end of the Bhimtal lake and terraced flower gardens can be found on either side. Next to the dam is the Bhimkeshwar temple dedicated to Bhim. Another tourist attractions in Bhimtal is The Museum of Folk Culture (Lok Sanskriti Sangrahalaya) housing collections of folk paintings and ancient wooden artifacts.

Day 1:   Delhi - Bhimtal

Pick-up from Delhi Railway Station as per your flights time or Airport, drive to Bhimtal. check in at hotel & relax, evening free for individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02:  Bhimtal Local Sightseeing

Have your breakfast at the hotel. visit to Bhimtal Local Sightseens. Explore the lush surroundings on your own, as per your liking. Lying at an altitude of 1370 m above the sea level, Bhimtal is a town that houses the picturesque Bhimtal Lake that lies amidst mountains and greenery. On the banks of the Lake is Bhimeshwar Maha Dev temple that is believed to have been built by Bhima, one of the 5 Pandava brothers of Mahabharata. It was later renovated in the 17th century by Baz Bahadur of Chand Dynasty. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03:   Bhimtal - Delhi Dep.

After early breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrive Delhi, transfer to Railway Station or Airport.

• 25% Amount at the time of booking. 100% Amount 15 days or earlier, before travel date. Payment by cheque or online payment facility available. Your booking confirmation number will be provided to you.

 

Tour Cancilation policy

• Strictly depends upon concerned hotel's cancellation policy
• Minimum Cancilation charges before 10days of Travel Date is 10% of package cost

• Package cost will change if opted for guide service, choice of transport vehicle, hotel type change
• Accommodation charges as mentioned in the package are with 2 persons staying together sharing the same room
• Extra persons in same room charges extra

The nearest airport is Pantnagar airport which is a minor domestic airport. This minor airport is connected with the airlines from all over India. Tourists can land at this place and can later get local buses or hire a taxi to reach Bhimtal smoothly.

By Rail

The Nearest Railway station to Bhimtal is Kathgodam. The railway station is located at a distance of 30 km from Bhimtal. The railhead is well connected with Kathgodam from all over India. Taxis and buses are easily available outside the station, bound for Bhimtal.
