Sikandarpur

Sikandarpur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Ballia district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was founded and later named by Sikander Lodi of Lodi dynasty. In past it was the well known center of perfume trade. It is surrounded by Ghaghra river from north. The town area of Sikanderpur is titled 'Adarsh Nagar Panchayat' because of its cleanliness and good basic facilities.

There in Sikanderpur, the visiting place is Kila Ka Pokhra, Jama Masjid, Maa Jalpa-Kalpa Mandir, Karbala and more places. There is a sample of Hindu-Muslim unity as there is Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Darul Uloom madarsa situated nearly. One more thing is that the famous Jama Masjid is situated beside Sangh (sanghat) Mandir.
