Safipur

Safipur is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Unnao district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It belongs to Lucknow Division. It is located 28 KM towards North from District head quarters Unnao. 70 KM from State capital Lucknow towards East. The town's name is derived from the name of a Muslim Sufi saint Maqdoom Shah Safvi, Safipur is connected with major highways.
