Bijnor, also called as Bijnaur, Bijnour, is the capital city of Bijnor district in Uttar Pradesh and also a municipal board. India also called as “Bharat” was named after the mighty Emperor Bharatha who was born in Bijnor. King Bharatha ruled almost all parts of India, under whose kingdom the happiness flourished among the people. King Bharatha spend his early childhood days in Bijnor district. Bijnor district is bounded by river Ganga and Ramganga on its borders.
