Welcome to Thoppil House, a Diamond Classified heritage Home Stay, nearly 115-year old located right in the heart of Kerala's capital city, Thiruvananthapuram at Palayam. Literally translating to 'House of Groves' in the local language Malayalam, Thoppil House is the epitome of old Kerala architecture of the late 19th century. Ancient wooden staircases and old doors made of Indian teakwood take you in to a different world. The accompanying furniture complements the beauty of this architecture: some of them being handed down from generation to generation in the Thoppil family.
