Vadipatti is a panchayat town in the Madurai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 24 KM towards west from District head quarters Madurai. 486 KM from State capital Chennai towards North. There is a bifurcated river of Vaigai runs south of this small township. Its paddy field and plantain field are source for the people who live around this place. There is a famous village near to this place called Kulasekaran Kottai, where Kulasekara Pandian Pandian of Pandya Dynasty had his palace and Meenakshi temple constructed here by him still exist.
