Kodaikanal, the Princess of Hill Stations, is a must visit for a scenic and peaceful holiday in the spectacularly beautiful Western Ghats. Located on the southern ridge of Palani hills in Tamil Nadu this genteel hill station was established by missionaries as a retreat from the oppressive heat of the plains. Day 01: Coimbatore - Kodai Road Kodaikanal
You are greeted at the Railway station or Airport and transfer to hotel at Kodaikanal. The 20th century saw elite Indians entry to Kodaikanal to enjoy its charm and beauty. Today, the charm of Kodaikanal lies in its wooded slopes and gigantic trees. The mighty rocks, bowers, creeks and slopes captivate the visitors. The meadows, the long stretches of forests, beautiful spots and the flocks of sheep grazing on green pastures are a source of joy, delight and thrill to visitors. On arrival at kodaikanal, check in hotel and free free for leisure. After noon visit Bryant's park, Boat Club, Shenbanur museum 5 kms away from lake, at the Sacred Heart College where about 300 species of orchids bloom and it is easily one of the best orchidoriums in the country and Berijan Lake . Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Kodaikanal
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Coaker's park, Kurinji Andavar Temple, Telescope house, Green Valley view point, Pillar's Rock. Over-night will be stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Kodaikanal
Morning proceed for sightseeing after breakfast. Visit Silent Valley View, Moer Point, silver cascade-water falls & Chettiar Park . Evening return to hotel.
Day 04: Kodaikanal Kodai Road - Coimbatore
Morning check out from the hotel and return to Coimbatore for onward destination. Drop at Airport/Railway station. Local shopping can be done if time permits at Coimbatore town.
