Constructed 3 years back it is in the tradition Kumaon style but with all amenties of a modern home stay, eight spacious rooms all with attached modern bathrooms, running hold and cold water,private balconies and a wonderful range of freshly cooked food.It provide you all the facilities of home without having to worry about your comforts.

Kumaon is also called DEV BHOOMI and many rligious and architectural locations are withing a day trip range from  Merigold Cottage, Jageshwar, Katarmal, Kasar Devi, Binsar, Golunath mandir, Ram Sidh Mandir, Mauni baba Mandir, . Ranikhet is the regimantal centre of the Kumaon Regiment and gives you an oppurtunuty to see the new recruits being drill to make them the great soliders that theregiment is famous for.The regiment also has a weaving centre and crafts for helping the widows of the soldier where very good quality tweed and shawls are available.
