It belongs to Jodhpur Division. It is located 41 KM towards North from District head quarters Sirohi. Sheoganj is famous for its cloth, jewelry and sweets market in nearby regions of the town. Nearby is the Erinpura Chhavani, which was the military base station of the British soldiers. Jawai River separates Sumerpur and Sheoganj.
