Sujanpur

Sujanpur is municipal council in Pathankot district in the Indian state of Punjab (India). It is 6km from Pathankot towards Jammu on Jallandhar - Jammu National Highway (NH-1A). It is situated near the banks of Ravi river. Town is beautiful surrounded by two beautiful canal UBDC and Bias Link. It has got a huge garment market which is very popular in its vicinity.

Bil-kaleshwar Temple of God Shiva is situated at a distance of 5 km on the Nadaun- Sujanpur road at the meeting place of Beas river and Kunah Khad. Tauni-Devi Temple of goddess Tauni- Devi is situated on the Hamirpur- Awah devi road at a distance of about 12 km from Hamirpur. Nadaun This town became famous when the Kangra rulers shifted their Capital here after they lost Kangra Fort to the army of Jahangir.
