The Palace Belvedere Hotel was the summer palace of the Awagarh royal family before it became a fabulous heritage hotel for guests from India and around the world. Lake Naini can be viewed from the front windows, and guests can walk down to it straight out the front door. There is a golf course nearby, a ropeway just down the road, and if the weather is cool enough, a trip out to the Snow View is not far either. The large number of animal skins adorning the walls gives the place a certain character. But it is the on-site restaurant that is getting lots of acknowledgement by guests who fill the dining room every night.
