Yawal is a Taluka, city and municipal council in the Jalgaon district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It belongs to Khandesh and Northern Maharashtra region. It belongs to Nashik Division. It is located 28 KM towards North from District head quarters Jalgaon. It is a Taluka head quarter. the Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the Maharashtra. It is situated at the banks of the Anner and Manjar rivers and at the border of Madhya Pradesh covering 178 sq.km of area.



The Yawal Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the Maharashtra. The Sri Padmalaya is located at the top of the hill. Shree Manudevi temple is situated at the north side of Satpura hills. Parola is a huge fort to visit nearby which was built in 1727 and it is believed that this fort belongs to the father of great Jhaasi ki Rani, Laxmibai. Swinging towers are located on the bank of Utawadi River and they are located at 16 kms from the Erandol.
