Pachora is a town and a municipal council in Jalgaon district in the Indian state of Maharashtra and situated on the bank of the Hivra River. It belongs to Khandesh and Northern Maharashtra region. It belongs to Nashik Division. It is located 49 KM towards South from District head quarters Jalgaon. It is a Taluka head quarter.



Pachora has many historical temples all over region with some mystery & spiritual story. Here in Rath Galli, Balaji Mandir is very old near about 250 years. Every year festival of Balaji is celebrated called mela of 'Balaji Rath Yatra'. In that 50 feet heighted wooden Rath of Balaji Maharj were pulled in its nearer specific route. It is also known as "Jai Malhar" Pachora's two famous temples of Goddess 'Kaila Mata Mandir' (Bhdgaon rd) & 'Jagdamba Devi
