Located on the banks of the River Khan and River Saraswati, Indore is the largest city in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on the Malwa Plateau, at an altitude of 553 metre above sea level. The city is home to many historical monuments that reveal stories of its glorious past. Tourists visiting this city are sure to be amazed by the architectural splendour of structures. According to history, the founders of Indore hailed from the families of Zamindars and landholders of Malwa. These families were given confirmatory sanads by Emperors Alamgir, Aurangzeb and Farukhshayar.
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International airport, where our representatives will greet and escort you to the hotel for check in. You will stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Indore
Leave your hotel after breakfast to see tourist destinations of Delhi. Visit India Gate, National Museum, Rajghat, Akshardham Mandir, Lotus Temple and Humayun's Tomb. In the evening, leave Delhi for Indore, by flight. Arrive in Indore and check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Indore Sightseeing
In the morning, leave your hotel room after breakfast for sightseeing. Visit Rajwada, or the 'Holkar Palace', Lalbagh Palace, Kanch Mandir and Bijasen Tekri. Return to your hotel room for overnight stay.
Day 04: Indore Sightseeing
You will be taken for sightseeing in the day. The itinerary will include Chattri Bagh, Bada Ganapati Temple, Central Museum and Patal Pani. Return to your hotel room for overnight stay.
Day 05: Indore - Mandu
You will leave Indore for Mandu early in the morning, after breakfast. The place is also called popularly 'the city of joy.' En-route you will visit to Dhar, an ancient city. Late in the evening, you reach Mandu, check in the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 06: Mandu Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring the beautiful city of Mandu. You will be visiting Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace), Hindola Mahal (Swing Palace), Champa Baoli, Jami Masjid, Jain Temple and Rupmati's Pavilion. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 07: Mandu - Ujjain
Leave Mandu for Ujjain after breakfast. Arrive in Ujjain and check in to the hotel. Late in the evening, visit the bank of Shipra River to see and experience the religious ritual performed therein. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Ujjain Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will be taken to the famous temple of Mahakaleshwar, whose Jyotirlinga is considered one amongst the twelve in India. Thereafter, you will be taken to Bade Ganesh Ji Ka Mandir, Vikram Kirti Mandir, Kaliadeh Temple and Bhartrihari caves. Return to the hotel for stay overnight.
Day 09: Ujjain - Bhopal
You will leave Ujjain for Bhopal in the morning and en-route, visit Bhojpur. Here, you will see the pre-historic drawings of Bhimbetka. The cave drawings have been included in UNESCO protected heritage, for their great importance. After reaching Bhopal, check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 10: Bhopal - Sanchi - Bhopal
Leave your hotel room for an excursion to Sanchi and visit the Stupa that was laid down by the Great Emperor Ashok. This stupa is symbolical of well-flourished teachings of Buddhism in the region. By evening, come back to your hotel room and stay overnight.
Day 11: Bhopal - Delhi
In the morning, catch a flight for Delhi. After reaching there, check in at the hotel and spend some time shopping. In the evening, you will be leaving for IGI airport, to catch the flight to your destination.
