Desert Himalaya is a Luxury Resort nestled in the beautiful Nubra Valley. Due to its unique location in the valley, the Resort offers unparalleled views of the majestic Karakoram and Ladakh Range. Desert Himalaya offers a unique dining experience by offering a variety of vegetarian Indian, Chinese and Continental meals, served piping hot in the spacious and well equipped Dining Hall. It can seat 80 people at a time and most of the vegetables are grown organically at the resort. There is a fish pond with rainbow trouts and local fish. For the Fitness conscious, Desert Himalaya offers a jogging track. For the adventure minded, the recently launched Desert Himalaya Adventure Camp, located at the Khalsar sand dunes offers ATV rides and much more.
