Situated within walking distance of the City Palace of Kota, Rajasthan. Palkiya Haveli is the house of the 'Rathores' of Palkiya. The Haveli was built in the 18th century in traditional Rajput style by Thakur Deo Singh Ji and is an excellent specimen of contemporary architecture. The Haveli has an interesting painted entrance which leads to the central courtyard. It has beautiful carved balconies, attractive courtyards, open terraces, lovely gardens and comfortable rooms with old design fabrics and antique furniture. The Haveli has been opened up for international tourists providing modern facilities in traditional ambience.
