Razhu Pru was a family house built out of wood in the conventional Naga style. In Kohima, in the land of Angami Naga tribe, this abode now welcomes guests with nine boutique rooms and spaces graced with old Naga artifacts, handcrafted furniture and textiles for a true native appeal. Along with a tiny space available for private gatherings, there is a small boutique that has a compact collection of arts. Razhu Pru also gets cozy with a lovely fireplace in the anteroom during cold winter evenings. The rooms are neatly done spaces with distinctive characters and include a suite as well. The chef conjures up a variety of local specialties which comprise of non vegetarian dishes served with bamboo shoots and chutneys. Additionally, the menu also has Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. Located in the Mission compound at the entrance of Kohima, the stay, with great views of the town and the valley, also provides access to the war cemetery and zoological park among other interesting sights.
