Day 1 Arrival in Cochin
On arrival Cochin Airport, Welcome by our representative and get transfer to the hotel. Check in into the hotel. Later proceed for local sightseeing of Cochin which includes Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Cochin, Kochi is located along the Arabian Sea, on the south-west coast of India. Kochi is one of the seven taluks of Ernakulam district in the state of Kerala. Day 2 Cochin – Munnar (150 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After Breakfast checkout from hotel and get transfer to Munnar, enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations. On arrival, check in into the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar. Munnar is situated in the Idukki District in the eastern part of Kerala, bordering the state of Tamil Nadu. Popularly known as Kashmir of the South, Munnar is well connected to all the cities in Kerala. Munnar is located amidst mist-covered mountain ranges and evergreen forests of the Western Ghats, at a varying altitude of 1,600 m (5,249 ft) to 1,800 m (5,906 ft) above mean sea level, at the foot hills of Anamudi, the highest peak of the Western Ghats (2,695 m). Day 3 In Munnar
After breakfast proceed to visit local sightseeing of Munnar which includes Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Thar, Mattupetty Dam & Lake, Echo Point, Old Munnar Town and Blossom Park. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 Munnar – Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and get transfer to Thekkady. Arrive Thekkady check in into the hotel. Later you can visit boat cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you can see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Thekkady, located in the Idukki district of the state of Kerala, is the place where the Periyar National Park is located. Thekkady lies very close to Kumily, which lies on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Day 5 Thekkady – Alleppey (140 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Alleppey also called “Venice of East”. Check in into the houseboat. Alleppey is a place where you will forget everything except enjoyment of life. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the houseboat. Alleppey also called as the ‘Venice of the East’ by Lord Curzon, Alappuzha is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Kerala. Located in Alappuzha district of Kerala, this town is also known as Alleppey. Situated at a distance of 155 km from Thiruvananthapuram and around 62 km to the south of Kochi, the destination is famous for its backwaters. Day 6 Alleppey – Kovalam (190 Kms / 5 Hrs)
After sumptuous breakfast check out from the hotel & get transferred to Kovalam. Arrive Kovalam, check in into the hotel. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel. Kovalam is situated along the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala in South India. Kovalam is a famous beach destination visited by Indian and international tourists all round the year. It is 15 km from the capital city, Thiruvananthapuram. The word ‘Kovalam’ in Malayalam stands for ‘a groove of coconut trees’. Kovalam was a cluster of small fishing villages during the pre-Independence era that belonged to the state of Travancore. The earlier history of Kovalam is very obscure. The town of Kovalam came to the lime light during the reign of the Maharaja of Travancore in the 1930s. The Maharaja of Travancore was so impressed by the beauty of the place that he spent a lot of his leisure time on the beaches of Kovalam. He also invited his European friends over to this place and they made the place popular.
