Alleppey is the focal point of most trips to the famed backwaters of Kerala. Dubbed the Venice of the East, Alleppey (Alappuzha in Malayalam) is a backwater haven with a unique crisscrossing network of canals and lagoons that spread across the center of the town. The Venetian ambience of Alleppey is enhanced by the coir-made houseboats that punt along leisurely on the backwaters. The Alleppey Beach is another highpoint it is a pristine stretch of sand lacing a choppy Arabian Sea.

One of the most enchanting holiday destinations in India, Kerala is known for its heavenly ambience. Munnar is famous for its rolling hills, tea plantations, beautiful lake, gardens and wildlife parks. A special thrill of visiting Kerala is a ride on a houseboat. Made in traditional Kerala style, you can spend a full day and night here while you glide down the Vembanadu Lake. A cook is also available here to feed you traditional Kerala fares. Even today it retains its charm as the centre for Coir carpet industries and prawn farming. Alleppey the ideal headquarters for backwater tourism as well as for visits to the lovely church filled town of Kottayam, Mirror still lagoons, picture book lakesides, palm fringed canals, shores bustling with glimpses from day to day life in the country side.

Day 1 DELHI – COCHIN (BY AIR)

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, Welcome by our representative and get transfer to the hotel. Check in into the hotel. Enjoy your Lunch at hotel and move out for local sightseeing at Cochin. Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 COCHIN - MUNNAR (150 KM / 6 HRS)

After Breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Munnar, enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations enroute. On arrival, check in at Hotel/ Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3 MUNNAR

After breakfast proceed to visit local sightseeing of Munnar which includes The Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Thar. Return back to the hotel for Lunch. After Lunch proceed to visit the Mattupetty Dam & Lake, Old Munnar Town and Blossom Park. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 4 MUNNAR - THEKKADY (120 KMS / 4 HRS)

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and get transfer to Thekkady. Arrive Thekkady, check in into the hotel. Go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake (Optional). Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc., and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel; relax & enjoy your stay overnight.

Day 5 THEKKADY – ALLEPPEY (130 KMS / 4 HRS)

After morning breakfast, Proceed to Alleppey. Check into a Hotel where you will forget everything except enjoyment of life. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 6 ALLEPPEY - TRIVANDRUM (170 KMS / 4.5 HRS)

After sumptuous breakfast check out from the hotel & get transfer to Trivandrum. Arrive and check in into the hotel. Visit Padmanabha swamy temple. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.

Day 7 TRIVANDRUM – NAGARCOIL (KANYAKUMARI )

After morning breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari (75 Kms). Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Visit local sightseeing of Kanyakumari which includes Kanyakumari Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial & Swamy Vivekananda Memorial. Return back to Nagarcoil Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 8 DEPARTURE TRIVANDRUM(16 Kms / 45 Mins)

Morning enjoy in your buffet breakfast and get transfer to Trivandrum airport for your onward journey.

• Minimum Cancilation charges before 10days of Travel Date is 10% of package cost
