Places To Visit In Kaziranga Sightseeing

Kaziranga National Park in Assam, is one of the top rated tourist spots in the state. the park has achieved distinguished triumph in wildlife preservation and has been recognized as an important bird area by Birdlife International. It has also been declared a Tiger Reserve besides being home to two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceros.

Kohora is a small town situated in the Golaghat district of Assam. It is the main entrance of the world famous Kaziranga National Park. It lies on the National Highway 37(Asean Highway 1). Kohora Lies Between Nagaon And Golaghat.

The Agoratoli range covers the eastern part and covers woodland interspersed with grassland and water-bodies. It is the longest strip in the forest.

The Baguri range covers the western part of the Park and has the highest rhinoceros density. in the west, is the shortest circuit but buffalo density.

The fourth Burhapahar range includes the additional area attached to the Park. Burapahar Rang and Panbari Reserve Forest (for hiking). Since the Park big in it is difficult to cover the whole park. The two hours jeep Safari covers only a small area. The prices depend on the range as well.
