This beautiful hotel looks like a large Himalayan home, and its uniqueness lies in its location, which is right besides the ‘jewel of Kaza’ – the Sakya Monastery. In fact, it is part of the same compound. There are 12 large double rooms with ensuite baths. The front facing rooms have a view of Kaza’s iconic stupas, while some of the others offer a close look at the monastery itself. The mornings here are glorious, as you can hear the gentle sounds of the chants and prayers filter in from the monastery. You can also sit in our garden and enjoy the lovely view of the monastery. Meals and refreshments can be enjoyed in the spacious restaurant, where you will often see monks sipping a cup of tea on a table next to you. We also have a small bookstore, should you want to immerse in some literary entertainment.
