The Buransh at Kausani is the first project of Kumaon Vistas Pvt Ltd. It has the unique distinction of blending quality tourism with nature's intelligence at work in Kausani, the abode of gods. Kausani is located 52 kms north of Almora in Bageshwar district of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand in India. The ancient town of Baijnath around 16 kms away was established by the Katyuri kings of Kumaon in the 9-10th century. Anashakti Ashram where Gandhiji lived, Lafxmi Ashram: the centre of the Sarvodaya movement and the Sarla-ben and Gandhi museums add a touch of solemnity to Kausani.
