Aashritha Kausani A 70 years old cottage, which is a blend of the traditional Kumaoni & British style of architecture. It was home, for Swami Anand, for more than half his lifetime. Swami Anand, an industrialist and philanthropist from Gujarat and a contemporary of Mahatma Gandhi, who had renounced the worldly life, was instrumental for Mahatma Gandhi’s visit to Kausani. With the Swami also stayed the IAS, grand-daughter of Mahatma Gandhi.
