Jingjiang is a county-level city under the administration of Taizhou, Jiangsu province, China. It is located on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, and is the southernmost county-level division of Taizhou City, bordering the prefecture-level cities of Nantong to the northeast, Suzhou to the southeast, Wuxi to the south, Changzhou to the southwest, and Zhenjiang to the west. As most of central Jiangsu, Jingjiang is situated on the Yangtze River's alluvial plain. About the only non-flat topographic feature is the appropriately named Lonely Hill, or Gushan, located near Gushan Town some 6 km northeast of Jingjiang's central city.
Jingjiang has numberous tourist attranctions including historical sites, parks and temples. The most attractive ones include Jingjiang Yangtze Bridge, Gushan Hill, and more. Jingjiang’s environment and ecosystem are well under protected, specifically for its water resource. The city is making its effort to maintain its ecological environment and forest.
