This former palace, built in 1919 and set in lovely gardens, is now an elegant, traditional hotel. Close to the walled city and overlooking the Tiger Fort, the hotel provides spacious rooms boasting the grandeur of years gone by. The old walled city is nearby for sightseeing but the hotel itself is worth exploring. An old wood-paneled library filled with rare books, antique arms used in previous wars, and an old silver collection is a fascinating visit. The hotel has a pleasant pool to relax around and in the gardens guests can enjoy the occasional puppet show. The dining room has wall paintings and a stained glass ceiling.
