Patanjali Yogpeeth

Patanjali Yogpeeth is a medical and research institute in Yoga and Ayurveda. Patanjali Yogpeeth is making Haridwar a popular spot to visit for Ayurvedic treatment and medication. Established in 2006 by Yog Guru Ramdev, Patanjali Yogpeeth is named after Maharishi Patanjali who believed to be the inventor of Yoga.



Daksha Mahadev Temple

Daksha Mahadev Temple is a famous temple in Kankhal, Haridwar dedicated to Lord Shiva. A sacred place of great devotion and faith among Lord Shiva devotees, the Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple is a centre of attraction in holy month of Saavan as per Hindu calender. Bharat Mata Mandir

Bharat Mata Mandir is a famous multi-storey temple of Mother India built to salute the dedication of all the patriots and freedom fighters. Inaugurated by the Late Indian prime minister Smt. Indira Gandhi in 1983, Swami Satyamitranand Giri established Bharat Mata Temple. Temple has eight storeys and each story has different theme dedicated to several legends and dieties.



Saptrishi Ashram

Saptrishi Ashram is an old beautiful ashram located at 5 km from Haridwar on the banks of Ganga (Sapt Sarovar). Established by Goswami Guru Dutt in 1943, Saptrishi Ashram is a well maintained complex with several rooms to stay. A residential hostel and sanskrit school is located within the complex for poor Children



Maya Devi Temple

Maya Devi Temple is a popular ancient temple in Haridwar and one of Siddh Peeth located in Uttarakhand. Goddess Maya, who is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Shakti, is the deity of Maya Devi Temple. As per mythology, here at Maya Devi Mandir heart and navel of Goddess Sati fell.



Har Ki Pauri

Har Ki Pauri is a major landmark place and a famous ghat on the banks of river Ganga in Haridwar. Chandi Devi Temple

Gau Ghat

Parad Shivling can be reached by traveling a distance of 6 km from the sacred town of Haridwar in Uttarakhand to Kankhal. The shivling is located inside the compound of Harihar Ashram. Visitors and pilgrims can use various modes of local transport to reach the site.
