The territory was also acquired by the Gaekwads, who chose Amreli as the headquarters for their Kathewad pranth. The culture of the village is preserved by Darbars Garashiya and is developed by the Bania Kapol community. Besides, the culture of the destination is reflected in the festivals such as Satam Atham and Janmashtami.
