Kaili is a county-level city under the administration of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, in southeastern Guizhou province, People's Republic of China. Kaili has a lush and vivid history. What stands out most prominently is its burgeoning education system. Highlighted by the efforts of Qiandongnan National Polytechnic College (QDNY), Kaili is emerging onto the Guizhou scene. QDNY's first international teachers arrived in the Fall of 2011 and helped cement QDNY as Kaili's premier educational institution. The volunteer teachers stayed for two years, and helped usher in harmonious prosperity with the great people of Kaili. aili is also home to Kaili University.



Kaili City is a living quarter of the Miao ethnic minority. So it is a nice place to learn about the culture and life of the Miao people.
