Places To Visit In Dhanaulti Sightseeing

Eco Park in Dhanaulti is a newly developed park by the DFO and citizens of Dhanaulti , which houses the deodar trees.  There are two Eco-parks about 200 m apart, Amber and Dhara. Being a forest conserved area and looked after by the forest division of Garhwal region, there is an entry fee for the visitors.

Surkanada Devi temple is at a distance of8 kms from Dhanaulti. This temple is dedicated to the famous Parvati Devi who is revered in the region by the locals. This temple is located at a height of about 10,000 feet and requires a trek of about 1.5 kms from the base of the hill. Tourists can also reach the temple by walking along an 8 kms trek path amidst the forest from Dhanaulti or can take the road from Dhanaulti towards Chamba.

In Dhanaulti, the large expanses of potato farm also known as Aloo Khet, is a place where the tourists can have a walk. These fields belong to the government and also are owned by private farmers. The production of potatoes is substantial and is supplied to many places outside the state of Uttarakhand.
