Motihari

Motihari is the headquarters of East Champaran district (Purbi Champaran district) in the Indian state of Bihar. The city of Motihari, called the ‘Karma Bhoomi of Mahatma Gandhi’ boasts of a rich and glorious history. It is said to be the place where, the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi had started Satyagraha, a revolution against the British to free India from their clutches.
