Itanagar is the capital of the north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. The city is also identified as Mayapur, erstwhile capital of the Jitri dynasty, established in the 11th century. Ita Fort, the chief historic testament of the region, it was built during the 14th or 15th century by King Ramachandra. Itanagar, is one of the two regions of the ‘Land of Dawn Lit Mountains’, the other being Naharlagun. Rich culture, tribal heritage and values dating back to several centuries are some of the most distinguished things to witness. The region is a dwelling place of diversified English, Aptani, Hindi, Assamese, Nishi and Adi speaking communities. The Nishis or Nishings is the major tribe in Itanagar area.

The township is situated at 350 metres above mean sea level. It comes administratively under Papumpare district. The Nishis or Nishings is the major tribe in Itanagar area. As a capital town, Itanagar is well connected with the rest of the country by road and air communications. Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati

Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station, as it is well connected with main cities of India. Upon arrival, our representatives will move you to the hotel. Check in formalities are done by the tour, you just have to relax and enjoy the comfortable facilities. take rest till evening and later visit the local markets of Guwahati to explore the magnificent handicrafts that are made by the local people. Return back to the hotel, Overnight stay in Hotel

Day 2: Guwahati - Itanagar

After breakfast at hotel, Upon arrival at Itanagar after driving for 10 hrs, On arrival check in Hotel and relax. Over Night Stay in Hotel.

Day 3: Sightseeing Itanagar

Have a hearty breakfast and later get ready to sightsee Itanagar. Explore the tranquil environment and lush greenery of Itanagar. The city is shrouded with snow capped mountains that offer breathtaking picturesque. During the visit the Polo Park, Lake Ganga Sekhi Lake, Buddhist temple and Gayker Sinyi. Later in the evening visit the local markets of Itanagar and enjoy your shopping. Drive back to the hotel and Over Night Stay in Hotel.

Day 4: Itanagar - Guwahati

Enjoy your breakfast at Itanagar and get ready to check out from the hotel. While returning back to Guwahati, Later continue your journey towards Guwahati from here our representative will drop you either at the railway station or at the Guwahati airport.
