Gudur is a tourist destination in the state of Andhra Pradesh. "Gudur Sub Division, the southern most coastal Division of Andhra Pradesh belongs to SPSR Nellore District in the Southern Andhra Coastal Plain. It spreads over sixteen Mandals and six hundred and ten revenue villages. A festival in honour of Dharmaraja is celebrated once in 10 years for a period of 23 days and thousands of devotees congregate on this occasion. Gudur town is also a famous lemon export center.
