Kovilakam was designed off as a tharavadu house but eventually graduated to a form of homestayboutique resort catering to the needs of both domestic and international guests that cross its threshold ..

Built exclusively from teak wood and anjili , Kovilakam has the typical tharavadu ambience.. The rooms have wooden ceilings　and traditional furniture. A broad chuttuveranda, lined with pillars , run all around the main tharavadu and this plays an excellent venue for relaxing.A quiet place for the elderly,a romantic spot  for the honeymooners,a fun and frolic time for the children and an amazing party evening for the young crowd….. that’s kovilakam
